Mostly good, but light is bright white
I'm not a musician but bought this for light on a very small desk with no room for a regular lamp. I have two small Mighty Bright book lights and love them. I like everything about this light EXCEPT the light is much whiter than I was expecting. My other two Mighty Brights have a softer, warmer light. Maybe bright white is what musicians need? To me it feels harsh. I do really like that it has an AC adapter with a long cord but can also run on batteries. I like how it is compact and packs up easily into the case for storage. I was considering returning it but realized it would be great for power outages when one needs light in the kitchen, to do first aid, or anything where you need hands-free light. I have LED lanterns but they are blindingly bright whereas this is not. Overall, it would be perfect if the light were warmer.
